Learning Logs and Maths Tasks

Hi boys and girls,

 

Well done to all of the children that have worked hard on their learning logs and maths tasks over the holidays.  We are going to give a new maths task out every MONDAY so please can you have your completed work in every FRIDAY.  I will be handing another learning log task out next Friday.

Super Science

We had a wonderful visit from the Super Science Sleuth Professors today. They taught us about the importance of food hygiene! We loved being scientists! :)

Sports Day Practise

Please can everyone wear sun cream and bring a sun hat and their sports kit for practise up the park tomorrow afternoon.

Multiplication Challenge!

Each week we are going to challenge ourselves to beat the clock when reciting our times tables out of order. The person with the quickest time at the end of the week will achieve a certificate and reward!
This week we are working on the 2x table! Well done, Joseph,Alice and Hollie who all achieved great times today!

Summer Term

Hello boys and girls, I hope you have all enjoyed the week off and are looking forward to coming back to school tomorrow. We have lots of exciting jobs planned for your last few weeks in year two :)
Can you please bring your P.E kit in everyday this week so that we can practise for Sports Day.
Also please return your learning logs, maths files and reading books on your reading day.
I am looking forward to hearing about your half term tales in the morning.
