Caerphilly Medieval Christmas Market

Here is our entry to the art competition for Caerphilly Medieval Christmas Market. All of the banners are going to be hung in the town and the winning banner receives a prize!

We love to read!

Library Visit

We had lots of fun at the library today! We listened to the librarian tell us an exciting story and then chose our own books to read. We are all going to try and set up a library card so we can borrow books and take them home with us.

Home Readers

We love reading in Dosbarth Porffor. We have fun listening to the teacher read, carrying out shared reading with our class mates, group reading and reading by ourselves. It is important that we read everyday to broaden our vocabulary and understanding of texts. Continue to keep up the home reading as your mum and dads love listening to you read too. We want to be reading champions so keep up the hard work.

Bonfire Night Celebrations

We are having lots of fun learning about why we celebrate Bonfire Night. We have been exploring with colours,lines and shapes to create our own firework pictures! Come into the classroom and see them on our display!

Home Activities

Well done to all of the children that have returned their learning logs and number journals. I am really enjoying looking through them all. On Friday we are going to share them with the class. If you haven't brought yours in yet, try and bring them back by Friday.
