What an exciting few weeks we have had boys and girls! Bob the Spaceman crash landed in our yard, we have visited the moon and an alien has appeared in our classroom.
What else could possibly happen???

What a mystery!!!

What an exciting week we are having boys and girls! The arrival of the mystery tent in the quiet yard and it's contents has puzzled us.
However we have risen to the challenge and have put our investigating hats on.
We have plotted the evidence we have found on a plan and are now making predictions about who our mystery visitor might be.
I can't wait to find out more information!

World Book Day

Puppet Pals

We had great fun creating our own Puppet Pals shows on the iPads today! We worked together to act out a scene from our text of the week, 'Owl Babies'. I liked the way you all got into character and used your voices in different ways to express how the owls were feeling. Da iawn Dosbarth Porffor!

You all worked very hard today to subtract nine from two digit numbers! You are learning mental strategies to support your calculations. We now know you can take away 1 set of ten and add on 1 unit to subtract 9 successfully. Keep up the great work! You can share what you have learnt with your families this weekend when you take your number journals home!

Purple Mash

What a wonderful winter themed week we had last week boys and girls. You wrote beautiful winter recipes and have learnt to enhance your writing using similes!
We are continuing our creative writing this week by writing a description! I can't wait to see what fabulous ideas you come up with!
At home can you please access Purple Mash and choose one of the a Winter themed jobs to practise your descriptive writing skills!

New Year's Resolutions

We had a great time today writing up our new year's resolutions on 2Publish
