Half Term

Hello boys and girls,
We are very happy with how hard everyone is working on all of your home tasks. Many of you have moved on to your next spelling and reading word wheels. We are looking forward to seeing your completed Learning Logs, Number Journals, Purple Mash and Spelling Scrapbooks after half term.
We hope you all have a lovely week off. Make sure you all stay safe in the bad weather.

Learning Logs

We were all very excited to take our Learning Logs home today. You have two weeks to complete the task entitled 'Bonfire Night'. The Learning Logs are due back in on Monday 4th November. Remember you can write stories, poems or descriptions. You can draw, paint or create pictures! Explore your creativity and think outside the box!

Number Journal Workshops

We are really looking forward to having the mums and dads come into school and work with us this week. Remember Sunbeams and Rainbows your workshop day is Wednesday at 2.30pm and Hailstones and Snowflakes your workshop day is Thursday!

Purple Mash Home Activity

Hi boys and girls,
Remember that you have a Purple Mash Home activity to complete. Our username is year 2 and our password is year 2. Click on Themes and then Autumn. From there you can select the autumn writing activity. Think about all the things we have been learning in school about description and poetry. When you have finished save your work in the Dosbarth Porffor File.
I am looking forward to marking them in the half term!

What a wonderful afternoon we have had today! You all enjoyed using your senses to find signs of autumn. You all created fantastic leaf crowns, thinking about the colours and shapes of the leaves that you chose. I can't wait to read your autumn acrostic poems later in the week!
